On the 5th and 6th October 2009, MTI Technology GmbH a leading international provider of consulting services and comprehensive information infrastructure solutions for medium and large enterprises opened a new EMC Velocity2 Signature Solution Centre in Wiesbaden near Frankfurt Germany. The new solution centre aims to provide customers a practical insight into the benefits of improved solutions. This second MTI Solutions Centre is connected to the companies first Solutions Centre in the UK Godalming near London. Now MTI through the combination of both centres is in a unique position to offer customers an optimal environment to test EMC and VMware Disaster Recovery solutions that includes Microsoft Exchange environments. Based on the companies decision to focus on technologies from VMware, Cisco and EMC Data Centre Technologies (VCE) the solutions centres can provide insight into a potential customers virtual infrastructure and data centre otherwise referred to as an "internal cloud".
What exactly does this mean to you?
The new centre is not an exhibition space or demo area for state-of-the-art technologies, it is instead, an excellently equipped environment and serves as a central platform for demonstrations, testing laboratory and testing for data management technology solutions from leading manufacturers and products such as EMC Celerra, EMC CLARiiON, EMC, Avamar, EMC RecoverPoint, VMware, Cisco, Dell and Wyse thin clients. At our Solution Centres you are able to setup hardware and software as real solutions with configurations that can be precisely adapted to your needs - without investment and without risk.
Under one roof you can explore different configurations, technologies and solutions, test before you invest. You can even simulate your own IT environment so that you can see firsthand how the different technologies work together - and how you can provide your company with real value. Backup, restore and archiving of virtualized environments to application migrations, you can use our unique "proof of concept" laboratory for implementations of advanced technologies, experienced in real conditions before they are actually implemented.
